Sisterly Love
What's been happening at our place?
Kate needed a new pair (her second) the last ones had a huge scratch right down the middle of the lens. Not bad for the amount of thrashing they get.
The house smells beautiful at the mo when we open the front door. Lillies and Iris grace us as we enter! Thanks Amie!
The girls wanted to grow a flower garden so I found them a patch by the front door (so we won't forget to water it) and we went to the garden centre and they picked out a few colourful flowers.
Kate's been practising her flip on the gym ball. Eeek, have to watch out when passing. Might get a foot up the nose!

South Beach
Ella has been asking to go to the beach for what seems like forever. The last school holidays the weather was too poorly, and these holidays it was the one and only thing on her list. As the weather wasn't great the first week we didn't go. Now that we are running out of days, we had to make a late evening dash there today. That was after I went to work and then took the girls shopping. It was a bit chilly and windy at the beach, but the girls enjoyed it just the same.

A home day

Hooray!

After six very l-o-n-g weeks away, Phil arrives home today just in time for the second week of the school holidays. He was supposed to be away for 3, but 3 turned to 4 which in the blink of an eye became six. To say he's pretty tired is an understatement but I have a list with some small maintenance jobs on it that need to be done. The girls have been saving his Father's Day gifts for his homecoming. It seems so so long ago it was F.D. Oh well with it being the holidays they will have plenty of time with him while he is home.

The best $9.95 ever spent
The girls have had a ball today in the tent I bought them. They played inside in it for ages, moving it about the house. Then they took it outside when the sun came out. Back into the house and tonight it became a camping place. Blankets and pillows and two very tired children later. Wonder how long it will last?
