Happy Easter Sunday

We have had a very relaxing few days here with just the three of us hanging out together, The girls have enjoyed their Easter Sunday with too much chocolate, new winter jarmies and tracksuits. They've had fun painting eggs and we've loved watching Little House on the Prairie on dvd. Hope you've all had a happy day xx

Happy Birthday ...

I have been very spoilt with two boxes of chocolates, slippers, a camera bag and a voucher! Plus beautiful handmade cards. They are the best. Eeeek it's my last year in my thirties :)

Seeing it was such a beautiful autumn day, I thought we would go to The Maze. We hadn't been before, it was good for us all to get some exercise and fresh air! The girls had a great time getting lost in the mazes and finding their way out!

And then there were just two ....

For the first time ever Ella is not with me tonight, she's having a sleepover at Amie & Ruby's house and is so excited. I on the other hand was a bit sad :( So I was looking for something for Kate and I to do, we looked at the movies but all that was on that was suitable for her was Thomas the Tank Engine or Bob the Builder. So we headed to the Kalamunda show. Lots of people there but not too many that you waited ages to be served. The weather was good, and we thoroughly enjoyed fireworks!

Assembly News

Yesterday the Year Three and Four's did an item at assembly. They sang "Talk to the Animals" which was really cool! Kate took along lots of her stuffed animals and it all made a really cool display.

Kate also received an Honour's Certificate for always giving her best effort and consistently producing work of a high standard. Well done!

This Weeks Flowers

Early Birthday Dinner

Tonight we went up the hill to one of our favourite places to eat to celebrate my birthday a few days early as Phil flies back to work tomorrow :( The girls were very well behaved despite it being late and being tired after school and ballet. Ella declared at bedtime she'd had a great night - the best ever!

Every Wednesday Amie brings me flowers home. She works in a florist and is studying Floristry on a Wednesday at Tafe. What she gives me is what she's made in class that day.

Festival Fun!

Kate performed a jazz item at the Corymbia festival today, which is yearly event with lots of fun things for everyone. The best part of all it's all free! Well that is except the food and drinks of course, oh and a few stalls. The girls went on a few rides each, however we ran out of time for a camel and pony ride. WE ate hot dogs and sat in the sun and chatted with lots of local families. And of course no fun day is complete without face painting!
