Chooks Favourite Food

The chookies favourite treat is silverbeet. They see me coming with it and go absolutely crazy jumping up to grab some before I've even hung it up. The 'baby' chickies are a bit camera shy so it was hard to get a good shot.

Out the Back!

It was a great afternoon sitting outside enjoying the beautiful sunshine, watching the chooks forage in the grass, listening to nothing but a lawnmower in the distance, reading, eating, and enjoying some colour. Spring is not too far away.

New Furniture!!!

Finally after almost 2years looking, we found a lounge suite that suited us perfectly last Thursday. It was delivered today and we love it!

We haven't really been upto much here, well nothing to write about, but the days just seem to fly by. Dancing exams are now over so that also means all the extra classes are now over. We've been furniture shopping (more on that later) the chookies are going well. Jonah loves coming to our house to see them and cuddle them. The girls are doing really well at school. We've been spending every oppurtunity weather permitting outside. I'm getting ready for more visitors from New Zealand. I'm looking forward to spring!

London Olympics 2012

 We have been watching alot of the Olympics. During the day when the kids are at school I've done not much else but sit glued to the telly. I watch it way too late into the night, then can hardly get out of bed the next day. Oh well, it's only for a short while. My top three favourite events to watch are rowing, gymnastics and equestrian.

Back to School

The holidays are over. It's back to uniforms, packed lunches, homework and out of bed at 7am. It's going to be hard. We've enjoyed every minute of the break. I've loved hanging out with the girls. We only really did a few outings preferring to relax at home. As we go out alot during term time, it's nice to be able to potter around the house catching up on neglected chores, reading with no clock watching, late leisurely breakfasts, and sitting down to watch a movie at 8:30pm if we please. Here we go Term Three! The year is flying by fast!

Enjoying more of the sunshine!

With the grandkids here today and tonight for a sleepover, we headed out today to The Maze today to keep them occupied. We all had a blast, and hopefully everyone will sleep well tonight!

More winter sunshine!

We had to venture down to Fremantle today to exchange a gift, so we found a lovely cafe and had some lunch. The girls' were occupied with colouring-in to do. On the way home, we stopped and enjoyed some more of Perth's fabulous winter sunshine!
