Kate's Christmas Wishlist

The girls have got their lists done already this year, and the shopping has began. Kate found it harder this year to come up with some ideas as she's in that in-between stage. Anyway, here are a few items she would love:

Off for a walk ...

It was still warm tonight when I left the house with my camera and headed out for a walk. Phil was cooking dinner and they girls' were too tired from dancing all day to want to come. I didn't see another single person on the way, guess everyone was keeping cool inside!

Presentation Night

We are not long home from Kate's school presentation night in the city! The girls are now tucked up in bed finally after having a shower and snack when we got home. Yes it is late, nearly 11pm, but if I don't do this now, it could be a week before I get to it!

Kate was one of 16 Year Seven's (out of 150) to receive an award tonight. She received it for Italian. Well done Kate, we are so proud!

FOR TODAY:

Outside my window…it's hot and sticky and I'm watching my broody chicken having a wander after just getting her off the nest.

I am enjoying… a banana smoothie.

I am thinking… I must find some paperwork fro the accountant tomorrow.

I am listening….to the fans making a whirring noise.

 I am thankful… that I can put my feet up for half an hour.

In the kitchen…nothing happening in there just yet.

 I am wearing… still in work clothes- black 3/4 pants and black top.

I am creating… nothing right now.

I am going… to see what there is for afternoon tea soon.

I am wondering… if I can find said paperwork.

I am reading… lots of cooking books at present.

I am hoping…to have a wee nap after school pickup.

I am looking forward to… Kate's presentation night tomorrow night where she is getting an award!

I am learning… to rest when I get home from work instead of rushing around like a mad woman!!

Around the house… I have been decluttering.

I am pondering… Christmas presents

A few plans for the rest of the week: Appointment tomorrow, Kates school night at night then working Wed, Thurs and Friday.

A peek into my day…Up at 4:30am, housework, bought dance concert tix at 7am, school drop-off, work by 9am, soon to be done in reverse plus tap dancing for Kate tonight.

Spring is truly a fabulous time to be out in the garden. I love seeing all the flowers burst to life after winter, and the wonderful smells from all the different types of flowers. I've always had a soft spot for pansies, they always seems such a happy flower, geraniums are a favourite too.
