Beach Time!

Kate and I headed down the coast today to Amies to pick up Ella who has been staying there for 3 nights! We packed a picnic before we left home, and visited the local beach before returning home with very tired kids (Ella actually fell asleep on the way home) We had the beach to ourselves for some of the time. There is something so soothing about the beach in winter I think!

Favourite winter breakfast

Porridge with frozen berries, milk and a sprinkle of brown sugar! Yum! The rose is the last in the garden before I pruned them on Monday. Kate bought it in for me and put it in water. It smells divine!

Movie Time!

Kate really wanted to see the Katy Perry movie and Ella didn't, so with Ella away for a few days I took Kate to see it today. It was so good, and very interesting! So, for all you Katy Perry fans out there who haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

I was pleased to see there was now pizza for sale, I hadn't had any lunch (we went to a 2pm session) as we did a bit of shopping first. I chose a vege one, and it was delicious.

Enjoying the Winter sunshine

 The girls made up a "things to do these holidays" list yesterday and the Perth Zoo was on it, so we set off today and met up with Amie, Ruby and Jonah.
