A drive in the Country

We jumped in the car around midday, not knowing where we were going. Followed our nose out to the Swan Valley to the Chocolate Factory where we made some small purchases including ice cream and sorbet. On through the country and we ended up at Phils friends house in Toodyay where we got to me his two new foals, 5 and 8 weeks old! So cute. We visited the Christmas shop in the town, which was pretty cool. Fish and Chips for tea, all in all, a lovely Sunday!

Last Day of Primary School

She wouldn't let me take a photo so this is the best I could do of her walking to the car. It's hard to believe she has finished Primary School, and is about to embark on her next adventure - High School!!!

Early Morning Markets

We were early to arrive at our local markets today to get some fruit and veges, we also ended up with bread, flowers, plants for the garden and some sweets. We enjoyed hot chocolates while listening to the bagpipes. The girls' bought cute necklaces and dream catchers. It was a nice way to start Sunday!

Good Friends

We met up with our good friends from dancing today at our local nursery cafe for some lunch. It was a beautiful day, so after we ate, we wandered around the garden. We were then invited up to their Grandparents house for a swim! Good friends are a treasure to have.

Ella Graduation Year Six 2014

We had a fabulous night last night attending Ella's Year Six graduation. It's hard to believe next year she will be in high school. She is very excited (and probably will be nervous as the time draws near) and ready to move on to new beginnings and adventures. One of her friends will be going to the same high school, 2 others are going to the local public high school, while another is going up the hill to a different public high school. She enjoyed dancing the night away, and her and her partner won first place for the Salsa!
