Christmas Day

girls playing a game of Hedbanz for kids from the Grandparents

one of their favourite gifts was a junior masterchef set each with an apron & hat

Kate got a much needed new bike and Ella got her old one with a new basket & bell

Definitely a big hit today in 40deg weather was a slip in slide, also from the Grandparents

Christmas Day Part Two

The best way to spend a 40 deg afternoon, who cares about clothes?

This photo was actually taken just as Jonah fell on Ruby, but I love it as it looks like he is about to lick her!
Grabbing a drink is a good idea on a scorcher day

Christmas in the City

Yesterday we headed into the city on the train to Santaland at Myer.
We went two years ago, so it was time to visit again.
However this year much to her disgust, Kate was too tall for the train!
Ella loved it though!

We did some last minute shopping, had afternoon tea and came home again.

The girls were really well behaved despite the humidity outside and the crowds!

Happy 6th Birthday Ruby

It's hard to believe it's been six years since we welcomed our first grandchild into the World!
She's grown into a bright and bubbly young lady, full of questions and curiosity about the World around her.
She comes out with the funniest things with an ever so straight face!

We bought her a new bike for her birthday and Tinkerbell helmet. She was smitten. We also got her some books and December birthstone earrings.

Happy Birthday beautiful girl.
We love you! xxx

Ruby's 6th Birthday Party

We celebrated Ruby turning 6 with a party at Jungle Gym. Her birthday is actually not until the 21st, but Amie decided to have it a little early before this time of year gets crazier.

She invited her whole class, and only 6 couldn't make it, so a wonderful turnout!

All the kids had a great time jumping & tumbling about, even wee Jonah had a ball!

the three girls together!

Another enthralling concert is over!

The last two nights have seen the girls dance their hearts out in some gorgeous costumes!

Poor Ruby was pretty unwell for the first one but was back to herself last night and enjoyed it, just as any ballerina should!

Ruby's ballet class danced to "The Fairies"
Ruby won the trophy for her ballet class!

Well done Ruby!

Fun Day

We had planned to do The Big Walk today raising money for children with cancer but due to Ella having a vomitting bug yesterday and the walk beginning at 8am this morning, we decided it was a safe bet to cancel.

She was well today (the vomitting stopped at about 7pm) she didn't have the energy for a big walk so we headed up the hill from us to enjoy the Zig Zag Community Arts Fesitival.

It was packed due to it being such nice weather (28 deg) We stayed a few hours and the girls took part in alot of the free activities, we ate hotdogs while watching some cheerleaders entertain us. Unfortunately the batteries ran flat on the camera so only got a few photos.
