to me!
I decided a camel trek through the Bibbulman track was in order today to celebrate turning another year older! The weather couldn't have been more perfect, a gentle 29 degrees. Phil didn't come on the camel ride, but waited with a coffee on the verandah overlooking the farm animals. I chose the hour long trek for the girls' and I which was just perfect. I was on Henry by myself, the girls were both on Petra.
Afterwards, we had afternoon tea in the tearooms. Ella and Kate had savouries and milkshakes, I opted for the scones with a milkshake, Phil finished off everything we didn't.

Ruby is TEN and an Early Christmas celebration!
Our granddaughter Ruby, turned 10 on Sunday, but we didn't get to see her then as she was competing in a gymnastics competition. So we celebrated this milestone with her today as well as having our Christmas number one, as Phil flies back to site tomorrow for work. The weather was perfect, the kids all played nicely together, the food was delicious. A very relaxing and low-key day. Just the way we like it.

A drive in the Country
We jumped in the car around midday, not knowing where we were going. Followed our nose out to the Swan Valley to the Chocolate Factory where we made some small purchases including ice cream and sorbet. On through the country and we ended up at Phils friends house in Toodyay where we got to me his two new foals, 5 and 8 weeks old! So cute. We visited the Christmas shop in the town, which was pretty cool. Fish and Chips for tea, all in all, a lovely Sunday!
