Enjoying the Public Holiday

We celebrated the Queens Birthday today with a visit to the indoor rock climbing place! The girls' had a blast, Ella's friend was also there for our last half hour, and they wore themselves out. I wore my hands out holding the ropes.

Spring Time

We have all been enjoying a bit of warmth in the backyard. However, today hit a new record reaching 34 deg C for September. I hate the heat, so fortunately it will be short lived. For now. A cold front is expected tonight/tomorrow morning, and cooler temps and rain are more my cup of tea!

First Baths

Last weekend when the weather was warm, the guinea pigs experienced their first bath. Two out of the three loved it, Alfie not so much. Ebony-Rose the chook also had her first one, mainly to clean up her mucky bottom!

Competition Time!

Ella's 12 years and Under Jazz Troupe placed 4th at last nights competition. All the girls' had a great time performing with their umbrellas again!

Time for Birthday Cake

We celebrated Jonah turning FIVE on Sunday with this gorgeous Minecraft cake!
 IT's hard to believe 5 years has past since he was born. The years certainly fly by don't they! Happy Birthday Jonah!!!

A Night Away

A couple of weeks ago on a whim, I booked us a room for Saturday night at the Crown, just because. Then I realised the next day was Father's Day, which made it a bit more special (and warranted!) We let the girls' have the afternoon off dancing (except for a half hour class at 1pm for Ella before the next competition) The hotel was pretty much booked out, so lots of people everywhere. We booked tickets to see Le Noir that night, which was fabulous! The girls' swam (mostly in the indoor heated pool, but gave the outdoor one a go too) It was lovely to have a change of scenery!
