Ella's Birthday Slumber Party

Last weekend, we had 8 extra girls for Ella's birthday celebrations. The photo booth was a major hit and they spent many hours utilising it! There was some karaoke too, and a lot of fun and laughter. There was a mix of new high school friends, old primary school friends and dance friends.

Little Things

1. My favourite lamp. I think. I love the glow it puts out.
2. The passionfruit continues to fruit.
3.Sweet Marky is always first down the ramp to the veges in the morning.
4. Free ranging. Omelette is broody, therefore in the nesting box.
5. Tired Cat.
6. My favourite potted flowers right now.

The Chooks

Working fulltime means I haven't been able to spend as much time as I would love to outside pottering around with my feathered friends. So headed outside late afternoon yesterday with very weary feet and took a few photos. Ommie is broody again, so she won't be laying for a little while. The rest are all laying though, even the old girl.

Sweet Boy

Gordon loves to sit at the back sliding door by the dining room. We trip over him alot, but it's his favourite place so we leave him be. Even when it's really hot, he likes to sit there. So when I saw this cute (dog!) bed at the shops, I knew he would love it!

Evening Walk

The kids were at the end of a 4 day weekend, noses stuck in their school books rushing to get last minute homework done for tomorrow when I said "lets grab some tea and head up to the falls" So we did. It was a very pleasant night, autumn is my my favourite season of the year. There were quite a few people doing the same thing. It was good to get out in the fresh air and have a break from the indoors!

Catching Up

We met up with our good friends last night, firstly at the movies to see Paper Planes, which starred 3 girls from our dance school as extras

What a fantastic movie! We all enjoyed it! After we went back to their house (at 9pm!) where the kids got right to work making their own paper planes and flying them.

Then the girls found some extra energy and danced the night away. Kate and Ebony gave us a peek at their lyrical dance they are learning.
