Good Friday

We met Kates friend and her family today at the Perth Zoo for a day out. The weather was gorgeous, but by 10am the place was already packed (2000+ people) We had a great day wandering around looking at all the animals. We left about 4pm, so everyone was pretty tired by the end!

I don't have many photos of Kate from today as she walked around with her friend most of the time. She said she took over 300!!! though, so will get some off her tomorrow when she gets home and post some of my favourites!

Dance Comps!

It was Kates turn today to compete in the 12yrs and under tap duo/trio. They placed third (same as last comps) and had a great time!

A Family Day Out

We caught the ferry from Perth across to South Perth Foreshore where we met up with Amie and Jonah (and later Ruby arrived with her friends) to enjoy some sunshine and lunch! I didn't see Amie yesterday, so had planned to get together today. Kate had an assignment to do that involved making an imovie of her family, where she lives and her hobbies. So she spent a bit of time videoing us all!

A Happy Birthday

I have had a fabulous day. New red gumboots, a cardi, chocolates, frypan amd handbag! Handmade cards and the girls made and decorated a cake themselves (and stayed up until very late until it cooked) Fish and chips with a good friend and her kids. These are the best birthdays.
