School Holidays Day 1 - Library Love

Well we woke to pouring rain today, and it hadn't let up by lunchtime, so we headed to the library and stocked up on many many good books.

Two of the girls favourite author's are Colin Thompson and Megan McDonald. They were thrilled  when they found some of their books they hadn't read before.

Also before we left, a book I had ordered online a couple of weeks ago arrived

This story is the first in a series set in New York City at the turn of the century. It is about a family with five daughters - Ella, Henny, Sarah, Charlotte and Gertie (later on they have a brother) and all the adventures they get upto. I loved reading it when I was young, and I hope my girls do too.
