Chicken Coop Clean-Up!
It was such a warm day today, so it was time to rake up all the damp straw after heavy rain and add it to the compost. The nesting boxes got a good clean out to, the chooks were so impressed that Phoebe laid a second egg for the day as soon as the fresh straw was put in! They loved nosey-ing around to see what I was doing.

Chooks and cats - two things I love as well. Your chook pen and that gate are terrific. Cats love pots, don't they. I have had to reserve a couple of pots for my Timmy cat to sit in, and not plant them up.
